The last few years have been very quiet on this website. This was due to a series of changes of employer and obtaining another degree - this time a Master of Engineering IT Security and Forensics. I can’t really promise that this will change in the future, but if it does, the foundation has now been laid.
I have decided to switch the site from Drupal, a rather dynamic CMS, to the static page generator Hugo.io. I was not necessarily dissatisfied with Drupal, but the maintenance effort (security updates, but also the major upgrades, which always produce massive migration effort) were disproportionate to the usage of this site. Above all, I don’t need dynamic content generation. It was nice to have it, but it wasn’t necessary. So - once everything was migrated and restarted.
